Omaha high
Omaha high is a variation of texas hold'em in which eah player receives 4 cards dealt face down. Then 5 communal cards will be dealt face up in the middle of the table. Omaha looks like texas hold'em except for some major differences as each players must use 2 of 4cards. not more, not less. Then the winning hand is usually higher in reason of the 4 cards dealt(6 starting hands).
Before cards are dealt, the first 2 players to the dealer left are required to post blind bet. Then 2 cards are dealt face down to each player. On the first round, players can either call or raise the blind or they can fold. Most casino allow a bet and 3 or 4 raises per betting round except when there are only 2 player playing. In this case there is no limit on the number of raises allowed.
When the first round is complete, 3 communal cards, called the flop, are turned face up in the middle of the table. This is followed by an other round of betting. Players can check or bet if no one bet yet. If there is a bet they can either fold, call, raise or reraise. A 4th communal card called the turn is then dealt. Follow a round of betting with the same kind of bet. The 5th and final communal card is the river. Follow the final betting round.
If 2 or more players will be still active after this last round of betting there will be a showdown and the best 5 cards hand using a combination of 2 cards plaayer plus the 3 of the 5 communal cards will win.
